Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing complex SQL queries and database solutions.
- Current Epic Clarity Data Model certification.
- At least 3 years of experience developing custom solutions within the Epic Cogito suite is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of database tables, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ETL processes and data integration solutions.
- Familiarity with Epic Hyperspace reporting tools, including Reporting Workbench, Cogito SQL reports, and Radar dashboards.
- Ability to manage requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, documentation, and ongoing support.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and lead technical discussions with stakeholders and external partners.
- Ability to work independently in a remote home-office environment with reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free workspace.
- Willingness to undertake nationwide travel when required.
- Preparedness to complete a pass/fail computer literacy assessment and a competency assessment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain database tables, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
- Develop secure, automated file extraction and delivery processes, including SFTP transfers.
- Build and maintain Epic Hyperspace reporting solutions, including Reporting Workbench, Cogito SQL reports, Radar dashboards, and related configuration.
- Manage reporting development from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Develop scalable data structures and dependable ETL processes for business intelligence and data integration.
- Conduct automated and manual quality assurance testing and support user acceptance testing.
- Lead working sessions with network members, third-party vendors, and internal teams to understand needs and design technical solutions.
- Document technical solutions, development processes, and system procedures.
