Requirements
- Have 4+ years of experience developing business intelligence or analytics solutions using Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Have strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Have strong experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity in Power BI development.
- Critically evaluate AI-generated solutions for accuracy, performance, and adherence to Power BI development best practices.
- Be proficient in SQL and experienced with relational databases.
- Understand data warehousing concepts, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
- Analyze complex datasets and present insights clearly and meaningfully.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills and careful attention to detail.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Gather reporting and analytics requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models, transform data, and optimize queries for performance.
- Connect Power BI to SQL databases, Excel files, and cloud-based data services.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and appropriate access controls across reports and dashboards.
- Monitor and optimize report performance, usability, and reliability.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to accelerate Power BI development, including DAX expressions, data models, and reporting solutions.
- Document BI solutions and provide guidance and training to end users.
- Enhance reporting solutions based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
- Support analytics best practices for data visualization, reporting, and data governance.
