Job Details

Experience: 0-2 years of experience in SAP Basis systems administration, software design/development, or related system administration work with a bachelor’s degree; or 1-3 years of stated relevant experience with no degree.
Required Skills: Microsoft Office Suite

Hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university with 0-2 years of experience in SAP Basis systems administration, software design/development, or related system administration work; alternatively, have 1-3 years of relevant experience without a degree.
Be a self-starter and problem solver who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
Have strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail.
Be able to troubleshoot simple and complex problems and handle detailed processes and projects.
Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Be able to travel less than 5% for client-organized technical forums or site support.
Experience with the Department of Defense or other federal agencies is a plus.
Exposure to SAP system administration tools and processes, including system builds, client copies, backup, and recovery, is a plus.
Familiarity with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or Fiori is a plus.
Coursework, certifications, or hands-on exposure to SAP Basis, SAP NetWeaver, or SAP HANA administration is a plus.
Familiarity with AWS or Azure-hosted environments is a plus.

Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems.
Perform SAP system upgrades and patches.
Monitor and help optimize SAP system performance.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot SAP systems, escalating complex issues to senior team members.
Support SAP data migration processes and learn and apply different migration approaches with the technical team.
Test and troubleshoot SAP Data Services against documented business processes and requirements.
Support corrections, transport management (CTS/TMS), and batch scheduling activities.
Work with operating system and database administrators to support SAP performance.
Participate in meetings with business and functional teams to support project planning and delivery.
Review and apply technical documentation and procedures, and participate in quality assurance and information security activities.
