Requirements
- Have extensive experience running and orchestrating dynamic stateful Postgres workloads at scale on Kubernetes.
- Have deep knowledge of Golang, Linux, and Apate.
- Have contributed to the Postgres ecosystem, either to core Postgres or open-source tooling around it.
- Have a track record of building internal systems, services, and tools for managing Postgres at scale.
- Have deep experience analyzing database performance, tuning Postgres parameters, and optimizing Postgres workloads.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement database-related cloud features across multiple layers of the stack.
- Ensure operational excellence, performance, and observability for fleets of Postgres/Timescale instances.
- Investigate complex performance issues faced by cloud customers.
