Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent; a BA/BS is preferred.
- High-level client service experience is required.
- Insurance experience is preferred, or demonstrate a focus on an insurance career.
- Hold a P&C license or be able to obtain licensing within three months of hire.
- Have intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Read, analyze, and reconcile financial reports.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Interact effectively with a variety of people and work both in a team and autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Develop client relationships, attend meetings, and contribute as appropriate.
- Work with senior team members to prepare and send requests for proposals to applicable insurance carriers.
- Track proposal results in spreadsheets.
- Review proposals and carrier source documents for accuracy under the direction of the Account Executive or Advisor.
- Create and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures, including policy records in the agency management system as assigned.
- Assist with billing questions from clients and insurance company personnel, involving the Accounting Department when necessary.
