Have 4+ years of experience as an individual contributor on a Product Design team for web or mobile apps.
Bring a professional portfolio showcasing UX, interaction design, and visual design capabilities.
Have experience contributing to, maintaining, or scaling a design system and working in a shared-ownership model.
Demonstrate advanced Figma skills, including variables, auto layout, component architecture, and Dev Mode, or equivalent skills.
Have experience with Adobe Creative Suite and rapid prototyping tools.
Have experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools such as Figma Make and Claude, and judgment about when AI output is ready to ship.
Have a deep understanding of UX/UI principles and processes, interaction design, visual design, and typography.
Be familiar with HTML/CSS and how design components map to code.
Have a bachelor’s degree in a related design field preferred; equivalent professional experience is considered.
Be able to work a 45-hour workweek.

Develop user-centered design solutions that address product and business needs for digital products.
Create and iterate on features from discovery through checkout and post-purchase, including AI-enabled features, edge cases, failure states, and trust cues.
Contribute to the design system, including tokens, components, patterns, and documentation.
Partner with Product and Engineering to define and measure success metrics and maintain parity between design and coded components.
Write usage guidance, accessibility requirements, and naming conventions to identify inconsistency and design debt.
Ensure designs and components meet WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards.
Use AI tools for research synthesis, ideation, and prototyping, and validate results against user needs and quality standards.
Test designs through sketches, prototypes, and usability research, and review work before development handoff.
Work with Product, Engineering, Commerce, and Marketing partners and facilitate design discussions.
