Requirements
- Bring strong hands-on experience as a DevSecOps or Application Security Engineer.
- Operate at Senior/Staff level, with the technical depth and independence to own complex security topics.
- Have hands-on experience with CI/CD security and GitHub, GitLab or comparable tooling.
- Have experience automating security guardrails, testing and checks within development pipelines.
- Bring expertise in application and cloud-native security.
- Have Kubernetes and container security experience.
- Know vulnerability management and CVEs, including security scanning, triage, prioritization and remediation workflows.
- Work closely with developers to embed security into software development and deployment.
- Python and Data & AI/ML environment experience are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with security testing and controls embedded in software development and deployment.
- Work with development teams across Kubernetes and containerized environments to identify risks and implement application and cloud-native security controls.
- Translate security requirements into practical guardrails, standards and solutions for AI/ML, MLOps and Data Science teams.
- Identify and assess vulnerabilities and CVEs, support prioritization, and work with application teams on mitigation and remediation.
- Contribute to security testing, rollout and observability.
- Advise teams when new security issues arise and explore tooling and automation to strengthen application security.
