Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of progressively responsible software engineering experience.
- Have extensive experience with Python, FastAPI, Postgres, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of at least one commercial cloud platform and its associated services.
- Have led the architecture, development, and building of backend services and APIs.
- Ensure backend services and APIs address performance, security, and reliability.
- Own technical problems end-to-end.
- Communicate effectively and work with end-users to design and build solutions to their needs.
- Learn new technologies independently and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Build multi-tenant services on public cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Build, architect, and consume APIs and backend services within the platform ecosystem.
- Emphasize automation, testing, and security in backend platform development.
- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Work with customers and partners to help them integrate with the services.
- Scale services and address space communications challenges.
