Requirements
- Have run data center construction, hardware deployment, or large infrastructure programs.
- Have managed OEMs, contractors, and integrators against a fixed date.
- Understand power, cooling, networking, and server bring-up well enough to spot schedule risk.
- Provide short, accurate status reports early.
- GPU cluster build program management experience may be beneficial.
- Experience automating program tracking and reporting may be beneficial.
- PMP or equivalent certification may be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Build an integrated plan for each build covering site readiness, procurement, logistics, deployment, and acceptance.
- Track vendor lead times and delivery schedules with procurement to ensure servers, network gear, and optics arrive when needed.
- Track site milestones, power and cooling readiness, and handoffs between teams, escalating risks early.
- Provide regular status reporting to leadership and customers.
- Develop program tracking and reporting that scales across builds.
- Create templates and checklists, and conduct post-build reviews to improve future builds.
