Requirements
- Have 4+ years of clinical experience post residency in complex care, chronic care management, or primary care.
- Be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Hold active state licensure in HI, CA, and/or WA, or be able to obtain additional state licensures.
- Have experience in or an appetite for learning digital-first healthcare, such as virtual medicine.
- Be comfortable using technology and applications to deliver care virtually.
- Work at least 14 hours per week in 4-hour shifts, with alternating 12- and 16-hour weeks.
- Work at least two 4-hour shifts each weekend, in addition to weekday hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care through asynchronous text-based chat and synchronous video.
- Care for patients with complex and chronic illnesses, including diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and mental health needs.
- Deliver compassionate care to patients ranging in age from 0 to 100.
- Use clinical judgment and Galileo's proprietary app and technology to address patient needs.
- Collaborate with clinical team members to leverage their expertise.
