Requirements
- Hold an active MD/DO license in good standing in all or almost all 50 states.
- Be board-certified and hold an MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Have at least 2 years of experience.
- Bring experience in geriatrics, behavioral health, and/or Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders; this is strongly preferred.
- Maintain evidence-based clinical skills and implement outcome-focused care.
- Be comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment.
- Have knowledge of crisis response.
- Be able to navigate Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, a proprietary EMR, and other systems and tools.
- Provide a personal computer or laptop that meets security and telehealth standards.
- Schedule work between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM US Eastern Time.
Responsibilities
- Hold 60-minute initial sessions and 30-minute follow-up sessions with patients.
- Provide 10–40 hours of weekly availability.
- Ensure patients receive the most beneficial level of treatment.
- Evaluate whether appropriate documentation and interventions are being implemented.
- Fulfill state-specific collaborator requirements, including meeting attendance where applicable.
- Use clinical judgment and critical thinking to provide appropriate triage care autonomously.
- Supervise nurse practitioners or other clinicians in accordance with state rules and regulations.
- Work alongside other clinicians to support patient outcomes.
