Requirements
- Hold Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Have an active state license in dietetics or nutrition in at least one state; licenses in multiple states are preferred.
- Be available at least 10 hours per week.
- Have a computer with at least 16GB of memory.
- Use Mac or Windows; Chrome OS is not supported.
- For Mac, use macOS 26.0 or higher.
- For Windows, use Windows 11.
- Have a strong foundation in counseling and motivational interviewing.
- Be able to navigate digital tools and adapt to evolving workflows and processes.
- Be familiar with Weight Watchers’ program and offerings and align with its food-neutrality philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, member-centered Medical Nutrition Therapy via telehealth.
- Review intake information and medical history during video visits.
- Guide members with personalized, evidence-based recommendations.
- Build ongoing relationships through regular MNT follow-ups.
- Use counseling techniques to support progress, explore barriers, and adapt care plans.
- Apply motivational interviewing and Weight Watchers nutrition guidance, protocols, and evidence-based practices.
- Communicate with the team in Slack daily.
- Complete member visits and submit accurate billing and charting notes.
- Attend monthly meetings.
