Requirements
- Hold a Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited university.
- Be currently board-certified by ANCC or AANP in Family, Adult, or Adult Gerontology.
- Have general practice experience, including obesity medicine experience.
- Have at least 2-3 years of experience after NP school graduation.
- Have at least 1 year of telemedicine experience and understand synchronous and asynchronous practice.
- Have at least 2-3 active state licenses.
- Be available for 10-15 hours per week, including at least 8 hours for synchronous visits.
- Be available for 2-4 hours daily, Monday through Friday.
- Be proficient in Zoom, Google Workspace (G Cal), and Slack.
- Have a computer with at least 16GB memory and Mac or Windows operating system; Chrome OS is not supported.
- Use Mac OS 26.0 or higher, or Windows 11.
- Have menopause management experience (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Build a patient panel with continuity of care.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered clinical care through the Weight Watchers Med+ telehealth platform.
- Review patient intake information and medical history through video and chat consultations.
- Provide appropriate clinical guidance and treatment.
- Maintain clinician-patient relationships through regular treatment evaluations and progress check-ins.
- Educate patients on the scientific principles of obesity, potential treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments.
