Requirements
- Have professional experience operating production cloud infrastructure, preferably in AWS.
- Have working knowledge of cloud security controls, including IAM, networking, secrets management, encryption, and logging.
- Have hands-on production Kubernetes experience, including inspecting workloads, reviewing logs, and troubleshooting failures with command-line tools.
- Have authored Terraform changes that were reviewed and deployed to production environments.
- Be familiar with Git-based workflows, including source control, pull requests, and collaborative code reviews.
- Have production on-call or incident-response experience and be able to investigate alerts, communicate updates, and make escalation decisions.
- Have scripting proficiency in Python or a similar language and familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering and security teams and drive remediation through completion.
- AI/ML infrastructure, LLM platforms, or model-provider-integrated services experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI gateway concepts, Cloudflare or other edge/network security technologies, cloud security posture management tools, or GitOps tools is a plus.
- Experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, fintech, or regtech environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Investigate Kubernetes workload and cloud-service health, logs, errors, latency, and provider issues to identify root causes.
- Develop, review, and deploy Terraform and Kubernetes changes for cloud infrastructure and hosted AI platforms.
- Strengthen AWS and edge/network controls, including IAM, networking, secrets management, encryption, and logging.
- Improve Cloudflare and related infrastructure controls using reusable patterns, automation, and operational runbooks.
- Use Python or similar scripting languages to automate operations and improve monitoring and incident response.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to investigate security issues and implement remediation plans.
- Participate in the AI platform on-call rotation, triaging alerts, troubleshooting incidents, communicating updates, and escalating issues.
- Contribute to infrastructure security improvements through cross-functional collaboration and operational enhancement.
