Requirements
- Have 7+ years of professional experience in IT project management.
- Have at least 3 years managing multiple client engagements in consulting or professional services environments.
- Demonstrate successful delivery of complex technology projects, ideally involving cloud infrastructure, data platforms, AI, or digital transformation.
- Have experience managing project budgets, cost tracking, resource allocation, capacity planning, and profitability.
- Be experienced in overseeing concurrent projects and coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
- Understand AWS, Data, and AI technologies at a project management level.
- Have hands-on experience with Jira, Excel, Google Sheets, Google Workspace, and Confluence.
- Be familiar with PSA platforms such as Productive or equivalent tools for financial tracking and resource management.
- Have professional proficiency in Portuguese and English, written and spoken.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
- PMP or Agile project management certifications are nice to have.
- AWS certifications, experience with AWS Partners or cloud consulting firms, and Productive or similar PSA experience are nice to have.
- An MBA or postgraduate qualification in business, technology, or project management is nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple Cloud, Data, and AI projects from sales handoff and initiation through execution, customer acceptance, and closeout.
- Collaborate with Sales and technical teams to define scope, deliverables, timelines, resources, and customer expectations.
- Develop and monitor project plans, milestones, budgets, resource allocations, and delivery schedules.
- Manage project financial performance, including cost control, resource utilization, hours management, and capacity planning.
- Establish project governance for status reporting, risks, issues, escalations, and change control.
- Identify scope changes, delivery challenges, and risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate engineering and delivery teams across Brazil and Canada.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and executive leadership.
- Deliver executive-level updates in Portuguese and English on progress, financial performance, risks, and recommendations.
- Manage customer expectations, drive customer acceptance, close projects, and identify process improvements.
