Requirements
- Have professional work experience as a graphic designer, editorial designer, layout designer, publication designer, art director, or brand designer.
- Use professional design tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma in daily work.
- Have experience with real design jobs, including briefs, revisions, production files, and delivery to a client or publisher.
- Be comfortable explaining why one design works and another does not.
- Have clear written English.
Responsibilities
- Compare designs such as posters, covers, page layouts, and brand pieces against a brief and audience.
- Assess hierarchy, spacing, typography, color, and the interaction of text and images.
- Identify production issues, including incorrect formats, low resolution, margins, and print color.
- Check whether designs fit the brief and the relevant brand or publication style.
- Write short explanations so reviewers can follow the reasoning behind each decision.
