Have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computer science, computational research, generative AI, or a closely related research discipline.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of artificial intelligence and modern machine-learning theory.
Have proven experience conducting original AI or machine-learning research.
Bring strong knowledge of deep-learning architectures, optimization, representation learning, and statistical learning.
Have experience researching and developing advanced AI models and algorithms.
Have strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or equivalent AI frameworks.
Have experience designing rigorous experiments and evaluating research hypotheses.
Understand statistical analysis, experimental design, and model evaluation.
Have experience working with large-scale datasets and computationally intensive research environments.
Have experience with model training, fine-tuning, validation, benchmarking, and optimization.
Have expertise in at least one advanced AI domain, such as large language models, generative AI, computer vision, NLP, reinforcement learning, multimodal AI, or autonomous systems.
Be able to analyze academic literature and identify meaningful research opportunities.
Have experience reproducing, extending, or improving published research.

Lead AI and machine-learning research projects from problem formulation through experimentation, validation, and technical delivery.
Define research questions, hypotheses, methodologies, evaluation frameworks, and measurable objectives.
Review academic literature, technical publications, benchmarks, patents, open-source projects, and emerging research directions.
Develop novel algorithms, models, architectures, and learning methodologies, and build research prototypes to validate concepts.
Design controlled, reproducible experiments and evaluate methods against established baselines and state-of-the-art approaches.
Prepare datasets and develop training, validation, testing, and evaluation pipelines for advanced AI models.
Analyze experimental results, model performance, robustness, failure modes, bias, and safety.
Develop research documentation, technical reports, papers, benchmarks, and presentations of findings.
Collaborate with engineering teams to transition validated research concepts into production systems.
Mentor researchers and technical professionals, review research approaches, and provide technical leadership.
