Requirements
- Have at least 7 years of IT project management experience, particularly with custom software development.
- Have experience working at a software company, software house, or technology organization delivering projects for external clients.
- Have German proficiency of at least C1 to independently lead client meetings, negotiations, and ongoing collaboration.
- Have very good English proficiency.
- Have independently managed project budgets, schedules, scope, and delivery accountability.
- Be able to build business relationships and discuss client needs, project scope, timelines, and costs.
- Know the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and be able to work with technical teams.
- Have practical experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements.
- Know agile project management methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Be able to make independent decisions, solve problems, and manage client expectations.
- Be proactive, accountable, and have strong communication skills.
- Be willing to travel to Germany for business.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects for international clients, primarily in the German market.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships and act as the main project contact.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, scope, and financial effectiveness.
- Establish business and technical requirements with clients and translate them into deliverable work.
- Lead client meetings and workshops to clarify needs and propose solutions with technical teams.
- Coordinate project delivery, monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure agreed solutions are delivered on time.
- Work with team leads and development teams on planning, estimates, and project objectives.
- Assess change requests and their impact on budget, schedule, and available resources.
- Support project proposals, estimates, and delivery terms.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and propose new project initiatives.
