Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- A Master's degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong practical experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience with data catalog interfaces such as ACDC.
- Experience with data validation techniques.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for data analysis, testing, and validation.
- Experience in quality assurance, data quality management, and software testing.
- Experience producing technical documentation.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data from technical and mission-user perspectives.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Willingness and ability to attend occasional meetings at Joint Base Andrews.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for data pipelines, APIs, and data products.
- Verify accuracy, completeness, functionality, and compliance with documented requirements.
- Test data products from the data-consumer perspective, including discoverability in the ACDC catalog, API access, and consistency with documented metadata.
- Serve as the primary quality assurance and testing authority, connecting engineering teams with mission users.
- Support adoption of the Data Mesh Environment as a member of the Enabling Team.
- Create, maintain, and improve user-facing documentation, tutorials, and getting-started guides.
- Gather feedback from early adopters and mission partners and translate it into recommendations for engineering teams.
- Communicate testing findings, identify issues, and collaborate with technical teams on solutions and continuous improvement.
