Requirements
- Hold a degree and professional license in computer systems engineering, software development, or a related field.
- Have experience in testing and command of BDD and TDD.
- Have experience extending Cucumber or Behave functionality.
- Have specialized knowledge of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) integration, including real-time constraints and signal processing in automated scripts.
- Understand object-oriented programming principles.
- Have experience managing Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Be able to optimize code and design clean architectural solutions.
- Have advanced Git skills, including interactive rebase, cherry-pick, hooks, and submodules.
- Have experience with GitHub Enterprise, including complex environments, OIDC secrets management, and custom actions.
- Have hands-on experience with HiL test benches and operate laboratory equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Have experience with Jira, Jama, Test Rail, and Gherkin for BDD.
- Have advanced English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain modular, reusable, scalable core BDD frameworks, such as Behave.
- Develop and maintain a shared library of reusable Gherkin step definitions.
- Create libraries that support testing scenarios.
- Develop and manage GitHub Actions or JFrog pipelines to run automated tests on pull requests, merges, and scheduled releases.
- Manage testing-library versioning and compatibility between test suites and the application under test.
- Mentor and train engineers on the framework and tools.
- Maintain test automation frameworks and testing tools across their lifecycle.
