Requirements
- Have 3+ years of professional experience building scalable backend systems in Go, Python, and/or Java.
- Be proficient with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Have experience deploying resources on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Have hands-on experience configuring GitHub Actions for CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment.
- Understand payment gateway integration, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Have strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Have experience with message queuing systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Have experience with automated testing frameworks, unit and integration tests, and test automation pipelines.
- Be familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud orchestration.
- Have the ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-availability backend services in Go, Python, and Java.
- Implement and manage Terraform scripts to provision and scale cloud resources.
- Configure GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Integrate payment processors including Stripe, PayPal, and Razorpay while ensuring PCI-DSS compliance.
- Review code, enforce coding best practices, and contribute to architectural discussions.
- Monitor application performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with product and front-end teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Develop error handling, logging, and alerting mechanisms for production stability.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem documentation.
