Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant software development experience.
- Experience leading teams or technical projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience implementing AI and machine learning solutions in production environments.
- Experience designing, maintaining, and improving digital platforms and data architectures.
- Ability to translate technical and data requirements into practical stakeholder-focused solutions.
- Ability to manage and guide technical professionals, consultants, and external resources.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with WordPress and Salesforce is an advantage.
- Nonprofit, international development, or Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the health, performance, architecture, and ongoing development of digital platforms.
- Maintain existing applications and build new features using PHP, React, JavaScript, and WordPress.
- Ensure technology solutions support organizational operations, mission delivery, and stakeholder needs.
- Lead the development and management of the organization's data architecture.
- Transform organizational data into accessible information that supports stakeholder decision-making.
- Identify and implement AI and machine learning opportunities in organizational operations.
- Oversee and coordinate the Salesforce consultant and full-stack engineer.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to direct reports and external technology resources.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to understand needs and deliver solutions.
- Assess platforms and identify opportunities to improve functionality, scalability, and performance.
