Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in data conversion, data migration, technical implementation, integration configuration, or related work involving data mapping, transformation, and validation.
- Strong understanding of structured data and JSON, including objects, properties, identifiers, relationships, and custom fields.
- Practical knowledge of data transformation techniques, formulas, conditional logic, filters, and validation processes.
- Ability to learn and operate data integration and mapping platforms and troubleshoot configuration issues.
- Working proficiency in SQL and API testing.
- Understanding of SaaS integrations, APIs, authentication methods, and data synchronization principles.
- Experience maintaining customer-specific configurations and troubleshooting data issues across connected software systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple customer configurations, maintain documentation, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, Project Management, Implementation, and Customer Support teams.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly, verify results independently, and comply with data security and confidentiality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review source-system documentation, JSON payloads, and datasets to understand data structures and technical limitations.
- Translate customer and business requirements into source-to-target data mappings.
- Configure mappings, transformations, formulas, conditional logic, filters, and literal values in the integration platform.
- Apply and maintain mappings for onboarding, migration, conversion projects, and ongoing integration needs.
- Test mappings and validate results by comparing source and destination data.
- Investigate missing, duplicated, rejected, or incorrectly transformed records and escalate platform defects with reproducible examples.
- Maintain customer configurations as systems, data models, custom fields, and business rules change.
- Document mapping specifications, configurations, test evidence, supported use cases, limitations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Support internal teams through technical documentation, training, and guidance.
- Use approved AI tools to improve mapping, analysis, validation, and documentation while verifying outputs and following data-security requirements.
