Requirements
- Be skilled in Excel and experienced working with large datasets.
- Have excellent research and reporting skills.
- Be a meticulous fact-checker.
- Keep precise and detailed records.
- Communicate effectively.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Be comfortable covering hospitals and healthcare.
- Health or science reporting experience, or a science or healthcare background, is a plus.
- Experience researching scientific studies is a plus.
- Experience with content management systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Fact-check hospital names in the database and identify the most up-to-date official names.
- Confirm that each Forbes.com hospital profile corresponds to the accurate hospital name and Forbes ID.
- Verify hospital information, including addresses.
- Research which hospitals are tied to a CMS facility ID and fact-check the information online and by calling hospitals.
- Assist with hospital profile displays and fact-check profile ratings.
- Assist with research and data entry.
- Potentially report and write short articles on hospitals and healthcare topics.
