Requirements
- Be skilled in Excel and experienced working with large datasets.
- Have excellent research and reporting skills.
- Be meticulous in fact-checking.
- Be skilled at keeping precise and detailed records.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Be comfortable covering hospitals and healthcare.
- Health or science reporting experience, or a science or healthcare background, is a plus.
- Experience researching scientific studies is a plus.
- Content management system experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Fact-check hospital names in the database and confirm the most up-to-date official names.
- Verify that each Forbes.com hospital profile corresponds to the correct hospital name and Forbes ID.
- Check hospital information, including addresses, for accuracy.
- Research which hospitals are tied to CMS facility IDs and call hospitals to fact-check information.
- Assist with hospital profile displays and fact-check profile ratings.
- Assist with research and data-entry tasks as needed.
- Potentially report and write short articles on hospitals and healthcare topics.
