Requirements
- Have education in mathematics, engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, or another strong quantitative field.
- Have a strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning.
- Have hands-on experience building and experimenting with models using PyTorch and LLMs.
- Understand dataset design and data mixing for deep learning training.
- Demonstrate understanding of how to maximize compute utilization and efficiently run experiments to validate research ideas.
- Published machine learning or deep learning research is a bonus.
- AI, machine learning, or deep learning personal projects or startup experience is a bonus.
- Research, machine learning, or deep learning team internship experience is a bonus.
- B1 or higher English proficiency is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Train self-supervised models on discrete sequences for downstream tasks including credit risk, transaction anti-fraud, acquisition, and LTV forecasting.
- Apply current NLP and deep learning techniques to fintech models.
- Work with tabular, behavioral, transactional, device and network, text, time-series, and graph datasets.
- Optimize compute resource utilization for training and inference.
- Own solutions end-to-end, from idea and data collection through experiments, training, inference optimization, and impact evaluation.
- Perform rigorous evaluations.
- Write articles and speak at industry conferences.
