Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst.
- Have 3+ years of insurance-domain experience, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, or billing.
- Have strong SQL expertise, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and performance analysis using SQL Server or Oracle.
- Understand data structures and data modeling, including relational models, normalization, and data mapping.
- Have hands-on experience with OutSystems or another low-code platform and willingness to deepen OutSystems knowledge.
- Have practical experience with Microsoft Azure, such as Azure SQL, API Management, App Services, Functions, or Data Factory.
- Have experience writing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria using Jira and Confluence.
- Have English proficiency at Intermediate+ level or above.
- Experience with policy administration platforms such as OneShield, Guidewire, or Duck Creek is a plus.
- Oracle PL/SQL, API and integration analysis, UK insurance or Lloyd's market experience, data migration or reporting, identity concepts, and OutSystems certification are additional assets.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements for insurance processes, including quoting, policy management, endorsements, renewals, claims, and billing.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and analyze data structures and flows between portals and core insurance systems.
- Design and document data models, mappings, and integration contracts between OutSystems applications, Azure services, and back-end systems.
- Define entities, screens, business logic, and integration requirements for OutSystems applications, and review technical solutions against requirements.
- Investigate data inconsistencies and integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
- Prepare acceptance criteria and support functional testing, data validation, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Create and maintain requirements documentation, data dictionaries, process flows, and integration diagrams.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
