Requirements
- Have 3–6 years of experience in IT with exposure to application portfolio management, service management, or IT governance.
- Bring hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, including owning and governing the platform.
- Understand the ServiceNow data model and backend architecture.
- Have experience managing Application Portfolio Management and services within ServiceNow, such as CMDB or service mapping.
- Understand IT service management concepts, including applications, services, and configuration management.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to manage and improve data accuracy and quality.
- Be able to analyze data, present insights clearly, and collaborate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and govern Application Portfolio Management data in ServiceNow, keeping application and service records accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Manage and monitor application lifecycle statuses to support investment, maintenance, modernization, consolidation, and retirement decisions.
- Analyze portfolios to identify duplicate, redundant, and obsolete applications and provide optimization recommendations.
- Map business applications to technical services and business capabilities, supporting service ownership and accountability.
- Support CMDB and ServiceNow data governance through quality monitoring, validation, remediation, and standards compliance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and portfolio insights for governance forums, service reviews, architecture assessments, and IT leadership.
- Collaborate with application owners, service managers, architects, and business stakeholders to improve portfolio transparency and service management.
- Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting by maintaining reliable portfolio and service data.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across Application Portfolio Management, Service Mapping, and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
