Requirements
- Have 15+ years of experience in Oracle Financials.
- Have completed at least three full-lifecycle implementations as a finance lead or solution architect.
- Have implementation experience in both Oracle E-Business Suite R12.x and Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, including at least one implementation in each.
- Have led at least one customer move to Oracle from a different ERP family, not only an Oracle-version upgrade.
- Bring hands-on configuration experience in General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets and Cash Management in both EBS and Fusion.
- Have strong accounting and enterprise-structure design experience, including chart of accounts, ledgers, legal entities, Subledger Accounting or Accounting Hub, intercompany, multi-currency and period-end close.
- Have Oracle pre-sales experience involving discovery calls, solution demos, orals, estimates, proposals, RFP responses and statements of work.
- Have led finance testing through CRPs, SIT, UAT, mock closes, reconciliation, go-live and initial closes.
- Be able to lead finance workshops, present to CFOs or controllers, and communicate effectively with business and technical audiences.
- Be able to manage several concurrent engagements and work with distributed onshore, nearshore and offshore teams.
- Be able to learn the Tessera AI platform and reach fluency within the first months.
- Have excellent verbal and written business English and strong presentation ability.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead finance discovery with controllers, accounting, AP, AR and treasury teams, distinguishing requirements from workarounds.
- Translate legacy finance models into Oracle designs for chart of accounts, ledgers, legal entities, business units and balancing segments.
- Architect accounting design across Subledger Accounting, Accounting Hub, intercompany, currencies, tax and financial reporting.
- Own Finance to Manage fit-gap analysis and recommend configuration, process changes, extensions or third-party products.
- Configure General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets and Cash Management in EBS and Fusion.
- Lead end-to-end testing, including CRPs, SIT, UAT, defect triage, mock closes and reconciliation.
- Lead finance pre-sales discovery, workshops, demonstrations and oral presentations for Oracle opportunities.
- Shape solution scope, estimates, assumptions, staffing, effort and risk, and contribute to proposals, RFP responses and statements of work.
- Contribute reusable finance designs, templates, test scripts and pre-sales materials to the Tessera platform.
- Guide and review Oracle finance SMEs, including offshore team members.
