Requirements

  • Experience delivering and supporting production software in cloud or customer-managed environments, with ownership through deployment and operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with external customers or partners on technical implementation, integration, or troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and debugging OIDC-based SSO with enterprise identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID or Okta.
  • Understanding of OAuth 2.0 fundamentals, tokens, claims, and application access.
  • Practical Kubernetes and container fluency, including debugging workloads and investigating networking, storage, or permissions failures.
  • Solid cloud infrastructure fundamentals, including compute, networking, IAM, and storage; AWS experience is particularly useful.
  • Experience using infrastructure as code and building maintainable automation.
  • Ability to read application code, follow logs and traces, and write tools or integrations in a language such as Python or Go.
  • Clear verbal and written communication across technical audiences, including explaining uncertainty and teaching effectively.
  • Strong ownership and judgment, including following through, escalating when needed, and making sensible scope tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan customer deployments by understanding environments, goals, constraints, dependencies, and success criteria.
  • Deploy and integrate Quilter across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, identity providers, and access controls.
  • Configure and debug OIDC SSO integrations with customer IT teams, and turn recurring fixes into setup guides and automated validation.
  • Investigate failures across application and infrastructure boundaries and keep customers and internal teams informed.
  • Partner with Platform engineers to build deployment automation, preflight checks, configuration validation, upgrade and rollback procedures, and diagnostics.
  • Build scripts and integrations around supported interfaces to help customers integrate Quilter into their workflows.
  • Validate deployments and identity integrations, teach customer teams to use and support their environments, and document operating responsibilities and escalation paths.
  • Explain tradeoffs, manage scope, and coordinate customer commitments with engineering and go-to-market partners.
