Requirements
- Have 2–8 years of experience.
- Have hands-on experience with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Have experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Have experience with MySQL and database management.
- Be familiar with Gutenberg and page builders such as Elementor or Divi.
- Know Git, GitHub, and debugging tools.
- Have knowledge of technical SEO, caching, responsive design, and website optimization.
- Know WordPress security practices, backups, and plugin management.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce development is preferred.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, hosting environments, DNS, and website deployment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Build custom themes, templates, and plugins.
- Create responsive, user-friendly website layouts.
- Develop functionality using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and payment gateways.
- Optimize website performance, speed, security, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and fix bugs.
- Manage website updates, backups, migrations, and database maintenance.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and development teams.
