Requirements
- Be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Have practical experience with InDesign Mail Merge, paragraph and character styles, and master pages.
- Be able to proof artwork for typographical errors, incorrect pricing, and broken layouts.
- Understand CMYK and RGB color modes, Photoshop image slicing, and DPI/PPI resolution standards.
- Understand web asset export settings and image optimization.
- Be able to follow studio processes, respond to creative feedback, attend daily check-ins, and deliver end-of-day logs.
- Preferred: Have experience in a high-volume retail design studio, e-commerce brand, or marketing agency.
- Preferred: Have experience with PDF annotation platforms such as Workfront Proof, Ziflow, or PageProof.
- Preferred: Have knowledge of retail ticketing systems, POS signage, or database-driven print automation.
Responsibilities
- Build and format multi-page catalog spreads from supplied pagination maps and brand style guides.
- Lay out promotional email offers in established templates.
- Crop, slice, optimize, color-correct, and retouch images for web use.
- Maintain organized image and design file archives.
- Create store pricing signage and offer tickets using InDesign and mail merge.
- Check artwork for pricing, copy, and offer accuracy before submission.
- Export and upload PDFs to digital proofing and annotation software.
- Complete daily ad-hoc design tasks under direction from Senior Designers or the Art Director.
- Attend daily Teams catch-ups and submit end-of-day progress reports.
