Job Details

Bring 5+ years of professional software development experience.
Have a track record of building internal tools and production systems used by employees and teams.
Have full-stack experience building web applications.
Have depth in at least one of Ruby, Python, TypeScript, or Kotlin.
Have experience with a modern frontend framework such as React.
Have experience designing systems that handle sensitive data, including authentication, fine-grained authorization, and auditability.
Have experience taking a product from 0 to 1 and making architectural decisions with incomplete information.
Communicate clearly with non-technical partners and use product judgment to simplify complex processes.
Experience building HR or people products, integrating with an HRIS such as Workday, or working in a regulated or privacy-sensitive environment is a plus.

Lead technical projects from initial design through launch and iteration across performance cycles, compensation planning, talent reviews, total rewards statements, and self-service tools.
Design scalable architectures integrating internal systems such as Workday and Ashby with the people data platform.
Build security into products, including role- and reporting-line-based access, protection for compensation and performance data, and audit trails.
Work with Total Rewards, HR business partners, Talent Management, and People Operations to turn their programs into products for managers and employees.
Use AI to speed up design, development, and testing and help the team adopt effective workflows.
Raise engineering standards through design reviews, code review, documentation, and mentorship.
