Requirements
- Have 6+ years of relevant analytical experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years with a master’s degree.
- Hold a degree in a quantitative field such as Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
- Be proficient in SQL.
- Have knowledge of Python, R, or SAS.
- Have knowledge of Tableau, Sigma, or a similar BI tool.
- Be proficient in forecasting models such as time series forecasting.
- Have experience in credit cards, loans, or other financial services.
- Bring strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Own monitoring of product metrics across credit risk, payments, and usage.
- Check loan and credit card performance metrics, including beginning balance, transactions, and ending balance.
- Build executive dashboards that compare actuals against forecasts.
- Build forecasting and projection frameworks for portfolio metrics.
- Prepare and present executive materials, answer data inquiries from investors and lenders, and assist with scenario testing.
- Conduct root-cause and remediation analysis with relevant business leaders.
- Support simulation of portfolio covenants for major risk strategy changes.
- Establish portfolio forecasts and monitoring for the corporate model.
- Collaborate with Capital Management, Risk, Finance, Core, and Accounting on analysis and lender negotiation materials.
- Reconcile General Ledger records with product tapes and trace payment flows from bank accounts to discrete accounts.
