Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another engineering or technical discipline, or eight (8) years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least five (5) years of relevant software development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications using C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.
- Proficiency in SQL, relational database development, database design, and query optimization.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Experience implementing JavaScript-based web applications and using modern development tools and version control systems.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot software defects, perform root cause analysis, and develop secure, maintainable, well-documented solutions.
- Must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain secure applications for VA healthcare data migration and syndication initiatives.
- Develop database-driven applications, data integration processes, and interfaces using SQL, database platforms, APIs, and InterSystems technologies.
- Collaborate with EHRM architects and cross-functional teams to analyze gaps and requirements and implement technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot applications, debug defects, perform root cause analysis and testing, and support deployment and monitoring.
- Participate in Agile development activities, code reviews, technical documentation, version control, CI/CD, and application security validation.
- Evaluate and implement AI-assisted development capabilities and LLM integrations for code generation, testing, data mapping, and migration workflows.
