Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree or have equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
- Have 12 or more years of enterprise experience in one or more relevant disciplines.
- Bring experience in risk management, including information risk or IT risk, or in cybersecurity with a data security or application security focus.
- Alternatively, bring experience in data science or artificial intelligence architecture or implementation.
- Have experience or current interest in evaluating controls frameworks and standards for securing AI.
- Have experience or current interest in evaluating technology markets that support securing AI.
- Have experience or current interest in applying cybersecurity controls to AI and generative AI.
- Be able to write detailed, understandable research.
- Demonstrate analytical skills, including applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns, and defending conclusions.
- Be able to engage clients and respond effectively to questions.
- Be able to work independently and collaborate with peers.
- Be willing and able to travel up to 20%, where applicable and when safe to travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop research and actionable written approaches to address clients' needs.
- Lead client interactions to identify challenges and inform strategy.
- Provide independent insights to Gartner leaders to shape the research agenda.
- Research and analyze market trends and shifts for clients and vendors.
- Create and deliver presentations for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
- Support research and sales teams with market insights and client engagement.
- Peer-review research content.
- Represent Gartner research, methodology, and strategy as an AI cybersecurity expert.
- Participate in research discussions and collaborate with peers.
