Requirements
- Bring solid experience in DataOps or platform engineering supporting a production cloud data platform.
- Have hands-on experience with CI/CD for data pipelines, including Git-based workflows, automated testing and regression gates, and promotion across multiple environments.
- Have hands-on Snowflake experience, including monitoring and alerting for a CDC replication pipeline and cloud data warehouse.
- Have experience working with financial, accounting, FP&A, or mortgage data.
- Be comfortable owning platform reliability and cost governance as a named responsibility.
- Be fluent in English at B2+ level.
- Microsoft Fabric/OneLake operational experience is a plus.
- Experience writing production runbooks and leading knowledge transfer to a client operations team is a plus.
- Experience with Qlik Replicate is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own environment provisioning and platform readiness across lakehouse and cloud-warehouse layers.
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines for metric definitions and transformation logic using Git-based version control.
- Promote changes across dev, test, UAT, and production, with automated regression checks on reconciliation suites at each promotion.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for replication lag and failures, landing-zone health and schema changes, warehouse refresh state, lag breaches, and cost or consumption anomalies.
- Own platform cost attribution and consumption monitoring across warehouses and compute.
- Maintain architecture decision records and other delivery artifacts alongside the Architect.
- Write operational runbooks for replication failure and recovery, reconciliation triage, metric-definition changes, and cost-anomaly response.
- Support progressive knowledge transfer through paired working sessions with the client's operations team.
