Requirements
- Demonstrated experience contributing to and extending existing code repositories in a team environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Git and collaborative version control practices.
- Communicate clearly and consistently while working with a distributed team.
- Have depth in at least one of database development and SQL, front-end/application development, ETL and data pipeline development, or machine learning.
- Have working familiarity with the other listed development areas.
- Be comfortable working across tasks scoped by the team rather than in a single fixed role.
- Experience with Google BigQuery, SAP, or similar enterprise data platforms is a plus where relevant to assigned tasks.
- Experience with SAP integrations is a plus.
- Experience building or maintaining SaaS-style applications is a plus.
- Experience with machine learning for computer vision or time-series forecasting is a plus.
- Experience with scheduled or automated jobs and lightweight administrative tooling is a plus.
- Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or procurement contexts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Extend and maintain code in existing repositories according to established patterns and conventions.
- Follow Git practices for branching, commit hygiene, code review, and merging.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and technical decisions with the broader team.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team on project work.
- Build data pipelines that integrate and transform data from sources such as Google BigQuery and SAP.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for reliable data flow between systems.
- Design and maintain database structures for operational and analytical workloads.
- Build and extend front-end interfaces and backend features for internal applications.
- Build and maintain scheduled jobs that automate application or data processes.
- Support machine learning model development and prepare data and features for training and evaluation.
