Requirements
- Hold independent licensure in a mental health field; associate-level clinicians working toward full licensure may also be considered.
- Experience working with children, teens, young adults, and adults is preferred.
- Experience completing behavioral health assessments and admissions is preferred.
- Have reliable technology resources to deliver uninterrupted, confidential, and compliant telehealth services.
- Be available for either 11am–7pm MT or 12pm–8pm MT; weekends are encouraged, and alternative availability may be considered individually.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work authorization in the United States is required.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients upon admission and build rapport with clients and referral sources.
- Present programming information to help clients gain access to care.
- Complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments for children, teens, young adults, and adults.
- Determine whether clients are appropriate for the virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) level of care.
- Construct provisional mental health diagnoses using DSM-V criteria.
- Document client information in the electronic medical record in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assign treatment team members and group schedules, and inform staff about new admissions.
- Coordinate intake with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams.
- Collaborate with hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers.
