Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of accounting experience.
- Have a strong understanding of debt accounting, including mortgage loans, accrued interest, loan cost amortization, and intercompany financing.
- Have US GAAP experience and direct US client exposure.
- Have experience with multi-entity close.
- Demonstrate strong recurring-entry and reconciliation skills.
- Manage a high volume of recurring transactions accurately and meet monthly deadlines.
- Be proficient in Excel, including basic formulas and functions such as SUM, VLOOKUP, and PivotTables.
- Be based in the Philippines.
- Have a private, quiet, dedicated home office area.
- Have wired internet with a minimum speed of 30 Mbps and backup arrangements for power or internet interruptions.
- Have an i5 11th Gen or higher computer, Windows 11 or macOS Catalina or higher, at least 8 GB RAM, and a headset and webcam.
- Knowledge of replacement reserve escrow processes and lender reimbursement requirements is a plus.
- Kyriba experience and CPA-level or equivalent certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Confirm that monthly mortgage payments are successfully processed through lender portals.
- Prepare, compile, and submit qualified spending to lenders for reimbursement from replacement reserve escrow accounts.
- Assist with setting up, maintaining, and validating debt instruments in Kyriba.
- Ensure loan terms, balances, and payment schedules are accurate in Kyriba.
- Prepare monthly journal entries for debt, including DLC and MTM amortization, intercompany loans, and accrued mortgage interest.
- Prepare monthly balance-sheet reconciliations for mortgage notes payable, accrued interest, DLC, and related accounts.
