Requirements
- Have 3-5+ years of product design experience.
- Bring experience with onboarding, growth, or monetization work; this is ideally part of your product design experience.
- Have hands-on experience with growth approaches and tools such as A/B testing and behavioral analytics tools like Amplitude or Pendo.
- Have experience with self-serve, product-led SaaS business motions.
- Be comfortable interpreting experiment results to guide design decisions.
- Balance speed with the quality of design deliverables.
- Have experience working in distributed, async environments.
- Nice to have: familiarity with Tailscale or networking concepts such as DNS, VPNs, or traffic routing.
- Nice to have: experience with LLM tools in design workflows, especially prototyping and user testing.
Responsibilities
- Draft and propose product changes intended to advance existing growth initiatives.
- Participate in the experimentation lifecycle, learning from research and iterating based on feedback.
- Contribute experiment ideas and develop multiple approaches to address friction areas.
- Use interaction design and prototyping to influence user behavior.
- Understand users’ goals and advocate for product changes that support their interests.
- Maintain a high quality standard for shipped work while balancing experimentation with permanent changes.
- Partner with the product manager, researcher, fellow designer, and engineers to define problems and experiment goals.
- Measure the impact of proposed solutions through experimentation.
