Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, reporting, business operations, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of DAX, Power Query, semantic models, and data visualization practices.
- Working proficiency in SQL for data retrieval, validation, troubleshooting, and reporting, preferably in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
- Experience gathering requirements, defining KPIs, testing outputs, documenting solutions, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Understanding of relational data, dimensional modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, and enterprise systems integration.
- Ability to manage assignments independently and collaborate across teams.
- Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify business questions, gather requirements, define KPIs, and develop analytics solutions.
- Lead analytics and reporting projects from discovery through deployment, including scope, testing, documentation, and adoption support.
- Analyze trends, performance drivers, and operational results to support decision-making.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, scorecards, and paginated reports.
- Use DAX, Power Query, SQL, and related tools to prepare, model, validate, and present enterprise data.
- Build and maintain reporting datasets and dimensional models using data warehousing practices, including facts, dimensions, and star schemas.
- Work with Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, SQL Server, APIs, and existing data integration processes.
- Use Power Automate and approved AI-assisted analytics capabilities to streamline workflows and support reporting.
- Provide guidance and training to business users on interpreting data and using self-service analytics.
