Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI, with hands-on Microsoft Azure expertise.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for data processing and AI tasks.
- Have hands-on experience with at least two Azure data services, such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Azure SQL, or Cosmos DB.
- Be familiar with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and Cognitive Services.
- Have experience developing Power BI solutions for advanced analytics and data storytelling.
- Understand modern data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming solutions.
- Know data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with Azure Event Hub, Service Bus, or Kafka and with distributed computing or performance optimization in Databricks/Spark.
- Preferred: consulting or client-facing project delivery experience and exposure to MLOps practices.
- Preferred: Azure certifications such as DP-203, AI-102, AZ-305, or AZ-900.
Responsibilities
- Conduct client workshops, gather requirements, and present solutions to technical and business audiences.
- Design and implement Azure-based data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Azure database systems.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate structured and unstructured data.
- Integrate Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Cognitive Services into business solutions.
- Collaborate with architects on scalable, secure, high-performance Azure Data & AI architectures.
- Implement version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Apply data governance, privacy, and security practices, including RBAC, encryption, and identity management.
- Develop advanced reporting and interactive Power BI dashboards.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal best practices.
