Requirements
- Hold a JD from an ABA-approved school.
- Maintain an active bar license in the State of California.
- Have 8+ years of solid litigation experience, including litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation.
- Be able to manage full case-handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial.
- Have experience handling insurance defense matters; this is preferred.
- Have experience with time-management systems.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Be able to think and act independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes in response to plaintiff strategies.
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
- Work as part of a team across experience levels.
- Communicate routinely with clients.
- Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys.
