Requirements
- Hold a JD from an ABA-approved school.
- Maintain an active California Bar license.
- Have 8+ years of litigation experience.
- Bring litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation experience.
- Manage full case responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial.
- Bring experience handling insurance defense matters; this is preferred.
- Have experience with time management systems.
- Be proficient in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Think and act independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes.
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
- Work as part of a team with attorneys at all experience levels.
- Communicate routinely with clients.
- Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys.
