  • Have experience designing, implementing, and operating production security controls for access, workload identity, secrets, or network isolation.
  • Bring deep hands-on Terraform expertise and ownership of infrastructure as code.
  • Have proven AWS experience at scale, including EKS, RDS, cloud networking, DNS, CDNs, and load balancers.
  • Have experience operating Kubernetes in production.
  • Be comfortable designing and improving CI/CD systems such as CircleCI or GitHub Actions.
  • Have strong observability skills using tools such as Datadog, Sentry, PagerDuty, or Cronitor.

  • Be comfortable supporting developers across local, staging, and production environments.
  • Use AI in your work and stay curious about emerging AI tools and capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Ship tested tools and services with runbooks and self-service workflows for other engineers.
  • Build versioned, tested Terraform modules for least-privilege access, secrets, and workload isolation, with automated configuration-drift checks.
  • Maintain fast, dependable CI/CD and integrate dependency and container scanning, secret detection, and short-lived deployment credentials.
  • Support engineers and unblock them across local, staging, and production environments.
  • Define service-level objectives and actionable alerting with engineering teams, using incident trends to prioritize reliability improvements.
  • Validate backups, restore procedures, and failover paths through regular recovery tests.
  • Lead or support incident response, drive post-incident reviews, and follow through on improvements.
  • Shape the long-term infrastructure roadmap and lead cross-team initiatives from design through rollout, adoption, and ongoing operation while mentoring engineers.
