Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of production-ready application development experience with high-traffic users.
- Have experience developing extensible UI system design and architecture.
- Demonstrate proficiency in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Be able to understand complex enterprise-grade code, contribute quickly, and suggest improvements.
- Be able to write Technical Design Documents that translate ambiguous product intent into concrete frontend architecture.
- Have strong debugging skills using development tools and source code to identify root causes and prevent future bugs.
- Have experience integrating web APIs or microservices into a UI in partnership with backend developers.
- Have experience implementing best practices for incorporating AI into user flows.
- Have hands-on experience with agentic engineering tools and workflows in a production setting.
- Be familiar with GitHub Workflows, Git, and JIRA.
- Have a BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop new applications and contribute to UI and potentially middle-layer development.
- Lead frontend feature work and shape architectural patterns in collaboration with backend-services engineers.
- Design and implement solutions that deliver an intuitive user experience.
- Own projects aligned with product development strategy.
- Balance customer-facing features with technical debt cleanup.
- Bring agentic engineering practices into the team's day-to-day work and help the team adopt them.
- Contribute frontend expertise to cross-team planning and cross-functional execution.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Backend Engineers, the UX team, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Deepen understanding of the healthcare claims and payments domain.
