Job Details

Bring 3.5+ years of WordPress Developer experience.
Use object-oriented PHP 8.x, namespaces, PSR-4, and Composer.
Know WordPress core APIs, including hooks, custom post types and taxonomies, meta and custom fields (ACF Pro and native), and WP_Query.
Have production experience building Gutenberg blocks with React, JSX, block.json, and @wordpress/scripts.
Use modern JavaScript (ES6+), webpack or Vite, and modern CSS with Sass or PostCSS.
Have experience designing and building RESTful APIs, including custom WordPress REST endpoints.
Understand WordPress security practices, including escaping, sanitization, nonces, and capabilities, and performance practices such as object caching and query optimization.
Be comfortable with Git workflows, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
Be comfortable working in an AI-assisted workflow and reviewing, verifying, and taking ownership of generated code.
Have English proficiency at Intermediate+ level or above.

Build and maintain custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks across high-traffic, multilingual WordPress sites.
Develop and maintain libraries, block collections, Composer packages, and tooling for delivery across teams.
Refactor legacy code, optimize queries and caching, and meet Core Web Vitals targets.
Build and consume REST APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
Participate in code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and engineering standards.
Work with product, marketing, SEO, and content teams on features and site improvements.
Follow software development best practices and deliver products on time.
