Requirements
- Hold a relevant academic qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Have significant experience in a finance, financial analysis, or commercial finance role.
- Understand financial performance analysis, budgeting assumptions, business profitability, and commercial support processes.
- Be able to analyze financial results and evaluate business performance against initial projections and assumptions.
- Have experience calculating commissions, incentives, or other performance-related financial payments.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to financial accuracy.
- Be able to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and turn findings into actionable business insights.
- Be proficient with financial reporting tools and spreadsheet applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Be organized and able to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience supporting new business opportunities, client tenders, contract renewals, or retendering activities is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial and commercial support for new business opportunities and retenders involving existing clients.
- Support commercial teams throughout bidding and tendering with financial analysis and insights.
- Analyze newly secured business performance against initial financial assumptions and agreed expectations.
- Complete financial reviews and performance analyses following new business wins.
- Identify variances between projected and actual financial results, highlighting risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Calculate and validate quarterly commission payments.
- Prepare financial reports, performance summaries, and analytical insights for business planning and commercial decisions.
- Collaborate with finance teams and commercial stakeholders to deliver consistent, accurate, and timely financial information.
- Contribute to improving financial reporting, commercial analysis, and commission calculation processes.
