Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or completion of the Supervised Practice Program for RDs.
- Knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex scientific concepts.
- Strong fact-checking skills and scientific literacy.
- Experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy and adhering to Nutrition Recommendations is preferred.
- Experience providing personalized diet counseling and nutrition education is preferred.
- Experience developing nutrition education programs is preferred.
- Strong literature review and research skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct literature research on nutrition and wellness concepts for product development and business requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge repositories on nutrition topics for product development, education, and marketing.
- Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian or Product Manager to understand project specifics and meet timelines.
- Create and deliver nutrition education presentations to internal team members.
- Develop product briefs for handouts, infographics, and educational materials.
- Work with the Wellness Team, marketing, graphic design, video, and social teams on nutrition content.
- Develop personalized meal plans and recipes tailored to target-audience dietary needs.
- Use nutrition software to assess the nutritional content of meal plans and recipes.
- Analyze recipe and meal-plan nutrients to ensure accurate information and compliance with required guidelines.
- Recommend recipe ideas or ingredients aligned with specific health goals.
